Capespan Group Launches Contour Logistics

Aspen International Services, part of the global Capespan Group, is officially rebranded as Contour Logistics.

Contour managing director Mariaan Rademan said the company would continue its stellar clearing and forwarding track record by offering clients extraordinary attention to detail, attentiveness to needs and follow-through on commitments.

She continued, “We aim to make Contour Logistics an industry household name, while ensuring our customers receive a unique, quality and cost-efficient service at all times. At the same time, we’ll be at the forefront of developments regarding destination requirements and make sure each consignment delivery is successful.”

Rademan said the combined management team had 125 years’ experience (15 years per manager) in the logistics and freight forwarding industry. “As before, we’ll be building and nurturing strong, long-term personal relationships across all platforms, while also enhancing our systems to provide a more streamlined and transparent service.”

Contour has repositioned the Capespan Group’s fruit logistics division as a relevant logistical services organization with the ultimate goal to provide customers with a ‘best-in-class’ access to global markets.

Contour Logistics, based in the Tyger Valley Waterfront and with offices in Port Elizabeth and Durban, is known for its facilitation of direct fruit exports from South Africa. Global fresh fruit and logistics marketer, Capespan Group Limited, acquired a 75% stake in Aspen International Services in September 2014.
