SALINAS, CA – Church Brothers, a leading grower/processor/shipper of more than 500 fresh vegetable SKUs, recently hired several employees to assist multiple operations within the company.
Joe Albaugh joined Church Brothers as a national sales representative focusing on the foodservice segment of the business. Albaugh is a produce industry veteran; he was most recently a partner and director of business development at ProSource Produce in Hailey, Idaho. Prior to ProSource, Albaugh had regional sales experience at Del Monte, Tanimura & Antle and Taylor Farms.

Junior Silva joins the company as procurement manager. Silva will report to Pradeep Hadavale, vice president supply chain; he has more than 15 years experience in packaging, purchasing and materials management with Dole Fresh Vegetables and Chiquita/Fresh Express.
Kate Burr, graduate of Oregon State University, is the new quality and food safety specialist reporting to Drew McDonald, vice president of quality, food safety and regulatory affairs; and Sophie Calhoun, a December graduate of California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, is a new sales assistant reporting to Director of Sales Jeff Church.
