Dinosaurs, Mouse Ears and Magic, Oh My! Stemilt to Introduce ‘Promosaurus’ at PMA

WENATCHEE, WA – It’s the final countdown! PMA’s Fresh Summit Conference & Expo is only hours away and many around the country are getting ready to throw on those Mickey Mouse ears and head down to Anaheim, California for the produce industry’s main event. This year, retailers can find Stemilt Growers at booth #2865 featuring new display options, celebrating their organics brand, Artisan Organics™ 30th birthday, and bringing in a little magic of their own to the most magical place on earth.

Stemilt’s senior marketing manager, Brianna Shales, is excited about the many opportunities Stemilt can offer retailers this year, including their newest dino size display campaign, Promosaurus.

“Promosaurus is all about building large apple or pear displays to elevate the success of promotions,” said Shales. “Retail scan data proves that a large display footprint during an ad can lead to ten times the normal volume sold. We will showcase just how easy it is to build a display with our fruits to make that number a reality for your categories.”

Stemilt will also be celebrating their Artisan Organics™ brand’s 30th birthday. A miniature birthday party will be on display in the Certified Organics showcase, and Stemilt will also have its many modern organic apple and pear varieties on display. New crop Artisan Organics™ fruits will be featured throughout the booth, including in an organic-themed easy pallet display and individually via a transparent display case.

“Easy pallet displays are another option for retailers to display fruit for either bulk or bag promotions,” explains Shales. “It’s another way to bring Promosaurus to life inside the store. These high graphic displays are eye catching, dominant and do really well in high traffic areas to boost volumes sold.”

Stemilt has easy pallet display bins for each of its fall and wintertime fruits but will bring Artisan Organics™ and the well-known Lil Snappers® branded displays to PMA. The company will feature its flavor-driven Rushing Rivers® pear brand in PMA’s Main Showcase. Stemilt was the first in the industry to commit to no longer using anti-ripening agents on pears, seeing the use as a barrier to obtaining flavors that would delight consumers. Stemilt focuses on its RipeRite™ program and modern ripening rooms to ship pears to retail at ready-to-eat pressures.

“We’ve made a lot of changes in the name of flavor for our Rushing Rivers® pears,” said Shales. “PMA is a great time to converse with retailers about their pear category and how we can keep working together to ensure their shoppers are having a great pear experience.”

Stemilt will also be welcoming back their long-time friend and magician, David Harris. Harris, an experienced magician, has performed at many shows that Stemilt has attended and is a great addition to the booth.

“Of course we have to bring some of our own magic to the show and David is the perfect way to do that,” explains Shales. “Overall, we are very excited about this year’s PMA and looking forward to meeting up with retailers in just a few days to show them the endless opportunities they have with Stemilt,” says Shales.
