Frieda's Debuts New Season Of 'Specialty Produce 101' YouTube Series

LOS ALAMITOS, CA – Frieda’s Specialty Produce recently debuted its new season of “Specialty Produce 101” videos on YouTube, highlighting more specialty produce than ever with a new video uploaded monthly. Each new video clocks in at about a minute and a half, keeping its quirky charm at about half the length of the previous seasons’.

“With marketing trends leaning more toward mobile, it is important to us that we have easy to access, short videos for shoppers to watch on the fly,” said Karen Caplan, president and CEO of Frieda’s.

Shoppers are not the only group that benefits from these new, shorter videos. “Many of our retail clients use our videos to train their produce managers,” said Caplan. “The shorter form of the videos is much more time efficient.”

Alex Jackson, account manager and Caplan’s daughter, represents the family business and shares usage tips, interesting facts, and recipe ideas in the videos, which are produced in-house in Frieda’s test kitchen.

So far this season, Frieda’s has uploaded three new videos featuring Sunchokes®, Pepino Melon, and Fennel. Subscribe today, so you don’t miss out: http://www.youtube.com/friedasproduce
