LOS ALAMITOS, CA – Frieda’s Specialty Produce will demonstrate the power of purple at booth #3039 at PMA Fresh Summit October 18-20 in New Orleans.

Samples of Stokes Purple® Sweet Potatoes will be available at Frieda’s booth #3039, along with a Frieda’s original cocktail, the Purple Hurricane, garnished with Organic Finger Limes.
The California-grown Stokes Purple® Sweet Potato has a purple skin and deep purple flesh that is unusually high in antioxidants – such as those found in super foods like açai, blueberry and purple corn. This tuber also has a low glycemic index and is non-GMO which makes it very popular with those on Paleo and clean-eating diets.
The Organic Finger Lime, known as “citrus caviar,” is prized for its caviar-like bubbles of tangy citrus. It has a tart, lemony-lime flavor with slight herbaceous notes. Native to Australia, this finger-shaped micro-citrus is now grown in California. Its unique texture and burst of flavor puts Organic Finger Lime on the most wanted list for mixologists and chefs everywhere.
