Orange, CA – Interfresh, Inc., a national supplier of fruits and vegetables, announced today the launch of “Interfresh University”, a new employee scholarship award program.
Interfresh president Chris Puentes explained “Interfresh recognizes that people are our most valuable asset, and we continually look for ways to appreciate, encourage and value them”.
Interfresh University was created to offer employees the opportunity to apply for “scholarships” to enroll in courses of their choosing that will improve their professional and/or personal lives. “This program can cover many different types of courses”, Puentes said. “Everything from language and communication skills, to Dale Carnegie-type leadership programs, or even health and fitness programs”.
Puentes added “We are encouraging our team to continue their professional and/or personal development in ways that are important to them. We’re looking for ways to meaningfully impact people’s lives”, he concluded.
The program will accept applications each quarter of the year.
