Jump With Jill & Produce For Kids Announce Winners For Family Food Rockstar Photo Contest

PITTSBURGH, PA – The world’s only rock & roll nutrition show Jump with Jill is pleased to announce the winners of their Family Food Rockstar Photo Contest. As an extension of the Jump with Jill Live Tour presented by Meijer, the social media-driven photo contest encouraged families to share the benefits of enjoying meals together during September, National Family Meals Month. Winners came from three states – Michigan, Illinois, and Wisconsin – and received a Meijer gift card.

“When families cook at home, the meals tend to be lower in fat and salt, have more fruits and vegetables, and are better portioned,” said Jump with Jill creator Jill Jayne. “But the benefits of family meals are beyond just nutritional. The social and emotional connections kids strengthen with their families when they eat together help kids perform better academically, engage less in high risk behaviors, and reduce their risk for obesity and disordered eating.
