IDAHO FALLS, IDAHO — Kingston & Associates Marketing LLC announced the newest addition to its growing sales team with the hiring of Yvonne Marpert as their new Product Manager for Pineapples. Having recently announced the expansion of its direct import program, the addition of Mrs. Marpert to the Kingston team is perfect timing for the growth following recent promotions. “For the past 12 years, Kingston has solidified its position as a premier marketer of quality pineapple in the United States. Yvonne’s vast pineapple experience and background in the industry is a perfect fit for where we intend to take our pineapple program. The team is excited,” said President, Ken Nabal.
Mrs. Marpert, who has 25 years of produce sales experience, comes to Kingston from Chiquita Brands where she worked for 11 years of which the past 8 as the Sales Manager for Pineapples. Prior to Chiquita, Yvonne spent 15 years with Sunkist Growers where she began her career in produce. Her key focus at Kingston will be managing the Golden Pineapple sales program and is tasked with expanding key accounts and developing new markets. Mrs. Marpert commented, “I am excited for this new challenge and especially to be a part of a growing team. Kingston has a strong brand in the fresh produce community and is known by its customers and
others for its quality and consistency.”
With this addition, which officially begins June 1st, Kingston adds an office in Cincinnati, from which Yvonne will work and visit regional customers. The move fits into a sequence of strategic expansions made by Kingston over the past 8 months. “It is critical we continue growing and integrating our core businesses while remaining focused on the customer service and relationships that make Kingston such a great company,” noted Dave Kingston, CEO and majority owner of the businesses at Kingston Companies.
