Sandpoint, Idaho – The Association for Dressings & Sauces (ADS) named Litehouse® Foods’ Fuji Apple Vinaigrette as its eleventh annual Dressing of the Year Award winner at the 2012 Annual Meeting held October 20 – 22 in Scottsdale, Arizona.
“Thank you to the ADS for selecting our Fuji Apple Vinaigrette for this prestigious award,” states Doug Hawkins, Senior Product Manager for Litehouse Foods. “The Litehouse team has worked diligently to develop a refreshing, creative product that peaks consumers’ interest and satisfies their taste buds. The Dressing of the Year Award is presented by ADS to recognize and celebrate truly innovative and delicious dressing products. Nominations for the award were received from ADS members and were then voted on by members via a blind taste test. ADS members voted for the dressing deemed to have the best overall taste.
Litehouse Foods previously received the ADS Sauce of the Year Award in 2004 for Ranch Veggie Dip, 2005 for Sesame Ginger Dressing & Sauce, and 2010 for Green Garden Ruby River Spicy Barbecue Sauce. Their Dressing of the Year Award winners include 2009’s Tangy Orange Citrus Dressing, 2011’s Pear Gorgonzola Dressing, and now 2012’s Fuji Apple Vinaigrette.
