Lori Taylor To Give Keynote Address At Southwest Ag Summit

INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana — Lori Taylor, The Produce Mom® will give the lunch keynote address at the 2015 Southwest Ag Summit in Yuma, Arizona on February 26th. Taylor will be speaking to members of the specialty crop industry on the importance of marketing and technology.

More than ever before, consumers are looking to online resources and social media to learn about companies and the products they offer. Taylor’s keynote speech, titled “We All Have a Story to Tell….What’s Yours?” will explain why it’s vital for brands to share their culture, values and purpose to online audiences. Taylor will challenge attendees to identify their stories and provide guidance on using these stories to connect with consumers.

Caitlin Antle Wilson, Sales and Marketing Director of Tanimura & Antle, a Produce Mom partner, will be in attendance at the Southwest Ag Summit and had this to say about Taylor’s upcoming keynote address: “At Tanimura & Antle, we feel that the importance of farmers telling their story is more relevant now than ever. With the use of technology, consumers can source answers quickly and knowing where their food comes from is at the front of every major discussion. We feel that partnering with like-minded and well versed groups and figures, like The Produce Mom, to share a united message is essential for the future integrity of our voice, as growers, as well as that of the produce industry.”

John Moore, President of Salad Savoy Corporation, states, “Salad Savoy has been able to realize a tremendous amount of value from our relationship with The Produce Mom. From television coverage, to these new “Twitter parties” and associated social media coverage, we have been able to elevate our presence to the American household. We look forward to future collaboration with Lori and The Produce Mom group as we continue to promote the “taste, color and nutrition” for which we’re known!”
