Mann Packing Adds Sales Staff In Canada

SALINAS, Calif. – Mann Packing is expanding its sales staff in Canada, with the addition of Ben Alviano who joins the company as a national account manager.

Alviano brings to Mann a rich sales and marketing background that includes time spent at the Pepsi Bottling Group, Proctor & Gamble and Magna International.

He was most recently the sales operations manager and director of sales/national accounts at Weston Bakeries Limited. Weston Bakeries is a wholly owned subsidiary of Loblaw, which manufactures and sells bakery goods to Loblaw and other Canadian retailers, including Metro, Sobey’s, Wal Mart, HBC, Giant Tiger, and Mac’s.

Alviano’s responsibilities at Mann will include all retail grocery trade in Canada as well as responsibility for Costco business in both the US and Canada.

Alviano lives in Toronto with his wife and children, and will report to Greg Kurkjian, vice president retail sales.
