Watsonville CA – Lindsey Roberts will be joining Monterey Mushrooms Inc. as Marketing Coordinator reporting to Vice President of Sales & Marketing, Mike O’Brien, effective August 3rd 2015.
Lindsey comes to Monterey Mushrooms from Lakeside Organic gardens, LLC where she was responsible for Marketing Communications.
She previously worked for Monterey Mushrooms where she worked in Quality Assurance & Food Safety and as a grower in between 2010 and 2013.

Lindsey received her Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural Science and Agricultural Communications from California Polytechnic State University.
Lindsey also volunteers for the Agriculture History Project – Museum, Santa Cruz Co Heritage Foundation, Healthy Restaurants Taskforce, and Food Day Santa Cruz.
O’Brien says, “Lindsey’s marketing skills, consumer insight, coupled with her extensive mushroom knowledge gives her a unique perspective, she will be an outstanding addition to our sales and marketing team”
At Monterey Mushrooms Inc. Lindsey will oversee print & website layout and design, content writing and editing, social media marketing and ad concept development to further developing the Monterey brand. “Mushrooms are a niche market and a commodity that can complement literally any meal. Be it breakfast, lunch, dinner or a snack: mushrooms can make anything more delicious. This makes the marketing possibilities endless and exciting”, Roberts said.
