Moss Landing, CA – The owners of Watsonville Produce, after nearly 30 years of cooling, processing and shipping vegetables, has expanded into direct sales of fresh and frozen produce through the creation of Muzzi Family Farms, LLC.
Muzzi Family Farms recently opened a sales office at 1111 Harkins Road, Salinas, and has teamed up with D’Arrigo Brothers of California for Muzzi Family Farms fresh produce shipping needs beginning April 1, 2013. The D’Arrigo cooler is located at 21777 Harris Road, Salinas. “We are looking forward to working with the Muzzi team, as both families have worked together in the past and we share the same commitments to providing safe and healthy products to our customers,” said Chad Amaral, VP of Sales Operations at D'Arrigo Brothers of California.
Muzzi Family Farms has state of the art fresh processing facilities located in Moss Landing, CA and Yuma, AZ. They are also managing partners for Blue Ribbon Frozen Foods, LLC, in Watsonville, CA. Muzzi Family Farms fresh produce offerings include washed, cleaned and bagged spinach, arugula and spring mix, and their frozen products are Individual Quick Frozen (IQF) conventional and organic spinach and kale, along with conventional bell peppers and Brussels sprouts.
