Shanley Farms is now shipping Finger Limes. Finger Limes are a micro citrus originally discovered growing in Australia. They look like a long, skinny lime. The interior is filled with citrus pearls (small individually contained juice vesicles) that pop in the mouth with citrus flavor when bitten into. Finger Limes are great paired with seafood, sprinkled over salads, used to garnish cocktails, etc.
The Shanley Farms Finger Lime season will run from now until early January. There are two pack sizes available; a 6oz dry clamshell (apprx. 25-30 finger limes) in a case of 12 clamshells, and a 40gram bag (apprx. 6-8 finger limes) in a case of 24 bags.
