Sherman Oaks, CA—Sunkist Growers is awarding 16 promising students in the cooperative’s growing areas of California and Arizona with scholarships to assist them with their academic pursuits.
The annual Bodine-Sunkist Scholarship, established in 1985 in memory of Sunkist board vice chairman Arthur W. Bodine, honors exceptional students from agricultural backgrounds.
“We are pleased to announce this year’s Bodine-Sunkist scholarship recipients,” said Sunkist President & CEO Russell Hanlin. “These students show tremendous promise, and we’re honored to support them in fulfilling their academic goals.”
The following students have been awarded Bodine-Sunkist scholarships for the 2013/14 academic year:
