Salinas, California – Taylor Fresh Foods, Inc. has completed the purchase of River Ranch Fresh Foods, LLC. River Ranch, based in Salinas, processes and distributes salads, salad kits and cut vegetables under private brand and River Ranch brands, Popeye brand spinach and cut vegetable snacks and offers commodity vegetable products to customers throughout North America. River Ranch operates salad and vegetable processing and cooling operations in Salinas and El Centro, CA.
River Ranch will continue normal operations under the River Ranch name as a wholly owned subsidiary of Taylor Fresh Foods, joining Taylor Fresh’s nine Taylor Farms operating companies. “We look forward to having River Ranch join the Taylor family”, said Bruce Taylor, Chairman and CEO of Taylor Fresh Foods. “We plan on making significant investments to add value for their excellent customers and to expand their unique product sets.
