Tiger Infrastructure Partners, a middle-market private equity fund, has provided funding for the business and equipment orders. The company plans to be in revenue service by early spring 2014.
Each of the founding executives has more than 30 years of experience in the rail and intermodal business. Thomas L. Finkbiner, CEO, is widely known as an executive of several rail operations, as well as a Board member of the Intermodal Transportation Institute (ITI) at the University of Denver. Theodore Prince, Chief Operating Officer, has extensive domestic and international transportation experience as both a carrier and consultant. C. Thomas Shurstad, Chief Commercial Officer, has vast experience with rail operations such as Pacer International and Stacktrain, Railex and other railroad companies.
