Kelly Ramey moved to Lincoln last year from the East Coast and was a little bummed to find out Lincoln didn't have an ALDI store.
So she said she was "eagerly awaiting" the discount grocery chain's first Lincoln store, which opened Tuesday at 27th Street and Yankee Hill Road, a day earlier than previously announced.
Ramey met her friend, Sandy Stiles, at the store at 10 a.m. Stiles, who moved here two years ago from Pennsylvania, is also a fan of ALDI, especially its produce.
