SALINAS, Calif. – Feb. 8, 2011 – Mann Packing is expanding its foodservice sales team with the addition of Chip Callahan as the new, foodservice region sales manager for the eastern United States.
This is a new position for Mann Packing and it is intended to complement Susan Noritake’s role as region sales manager foodservice west. The addition of Callahan to the Mann Packing team completes the expansion of the company’s foodservice sales organization. Both region managers will report to Rick Russo, director of sales for foodservice and commodity.
“Callahan has a wealth of experience within the foodservice industry”, Russo said.
For the past 22 years he has held sales positions with seafood, frozen, and fresh produce companies, as well as positions on the distribution side of the business.
“He will be helping drive sales and provide valuable insights to understanding the factors that motivate our distributor customers,” Russo said. “Mann has a tremendous opportunity to work with the foodservice industry to provide healthy solutions for out-of-home eating.”
Callahan lives in Bethlehem, Penn., where he is active in his local community through Boy Scouts of America, charitable events and political activities.
