Nash Finch Co. will close distribution operations at its Blue Ash center in February, resulting in layoffs for 60 employees.
The company, which specializes in food distribution to private companies, announced the layoffs in a notice submitted to the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services.
In the letter, Nash Finch senior human resources representative Eldon Neill says the layoffs are expected to take place during a 14-day period around Feb. 10, 2014 and are expected to be permanent.
