Niman Ranch Cage–free Liquid Eggs, available in 20pound box and 2pound carton foodservice sizes, join the original cagefree egg line of foodservice shell 15dozen loose case packs and one dozen retail packs. Niman Ranch’s liquid eggs are a timesaving option for any busy restaurant without compromising on taste.

The 25 independent farmers who raise Rhode Island Red laying hens a particularly well suited heritage breed for cagefree environments for Niman Ranch’s egg production must adhere to low density housing protocols requiring a minimum of 50 percent more space for each hen than is the norm in conventional hen houses. Niman Ranch believes a better life for the hen means a higher quality egg for chefs and their diners. Additional humane care practices for Niman Ranch laying hens include:

- Access to fresh water
- Fed a 100% vegetarian diet
Niman Ranch’s raising practices, proprietary feed and protocols result in an egg that has 300 percent more Omega3’s, 25 percent less saturated fat and 19 percent less cholesterol than conventional eggs.
