Plumb’s Employees To Keep Jobs In Great Lakes Fresh Market Transition

MUSKEGON, MI – Great Lakes Fresh Market will keep former Plumb's grocery store employees, according to a release.

Great Lakes Fresh Market — the name given to former Plumb's grocery stores by its new owner L.M. Foods — retained most Plumb's staff members, according to the release. Employees are going through customer service training. The company has also hired a customer service specialist.

Plumb's had about 125 employees between three locations in Muskegon, North Muskegon and Whitehall when Menominee-based L.M. Foods LLC took ownership of Plumb Inc. assets in February as the grocer's secured creditor.
