Scout Logistics Teams Up With The Food Dudes To Host Dinner For Canadian Veterans

On June 11th, 2014 North America's leading perishable logistics specialists, Scout Logistics Corporation, teamed up with The Food Dudes, Toronto's premier catering company, to host dinner for the Veterans of Sunnybrook Veterans Centre in Toronto, Ontario Canada.

Scout Logistics has always been heavily involved with various charities and hospitals through our affiliation with the Bridle Bash Foundation. As a company Scout Logistics is defined by our caring of others – both in our devotion to our work in just in time logistics and to actively helping the community.

“This year, as Memorial Day came and went, we wanted to show our appreciation for the Veterans who sacrificed their lives and to whom we owe our eternal thanks” said Hannah Abrams, V.P of corporate affairs at Scout Logistics Corporation.  "Our company feels very passionate about Remembrance Day and understands that if it wasn't for the selfless acts of these brave men and women fighting for our freedom for generations many of us wouldn't be here today."

Catering dinner for the Veterans living at the Sunnybrook Veterans Centre was particularly special to us here at Scout Logistics because we were not only able to surprise so many veterans with an incredible meal, but we were able to spend time with the people who fought for our country and ensured its safety. “We wholeheartedly believe they should be thanked not just on the 11th of November, but every day.”
