Houston Texans' superstar defensive lineman J.J. Watt, who gobbled up more than his fair share of helpless opposing quarterbacks this past season, will bring another of his prodigious appetites into play now that he has signed on as a spokesman for H-E-B Grocery Co.
Watt, who led the NFL with 20.5 sacks in the regular season, has already been featured in some H-E-B tailgating advertisements along with several other Texans' linemen encouraging viewers to load their grocery sacks with H-E-B beef products.
The deal unveiled Thursday will put Watt in the spotlight on his own, promoting some of his "favorite" H-E-B products, the San Antonio-based company said in a statement.
