The Roundy's division of The Kroger Co. could file plans as early as this week to remodel a Pick 'n Save store at 6950 W. State St. in Wauwatosa, with the "likelihood" that the store's brand would change, a company spokesman said Wednesday.
That means the store is likely to become one of the company's upscale Metro Market locations. Kroger has adopted a strategy of shifting all its Wisconsin stores to either the Pick 'n Save or Metro Market banners.
"There's a likelihood that there would be a banner name change," as part of the planned remodeling in Wauwatosa, said James Hyland, spokesman for Kroger's Milwaukee-based Roundy's division.
