Willamette Valley Fruit Company's Sale Finalized

Arizona-based Inventure paid $9.5 million in cash and assumed certain liabilities as part of the deal, Inventure officials said in a statement issued Monday. Willamette Valley Fruit started business in 1999. The Gerald Roth family, the former owner of the business, was one of three farm families that founded the company.

'We feel like this is a good opportunity for our farm, our employees, and for the local agricultural community,' said Jeff Roth about the sale to Inventure Foods, a publicly traded company with a national reach.
