Marriner Redesigns Zatarain’s Packaging For Improved Consumer Appeal

Marriner Marketing Communications recently partnered with Zatarain's to update the packaging for its retail breading line. Zatarain's, a Client of Marriner since 2006, sought to replace current packaging with a more modern, premium look to attract customers' attention and maintain consistency across the flavor varieties. The new packaging is beginning to appear on retailer shelves and is currently in Wegman’s and Food Lion.

The updated designs, affecting more than 20 SKUs across various packaging structures and sizes, feature new cooking tip icons and enhanced food images. Key Zatarain's iconic brand elements such as the red awning, Jazzman image and signature yellow color were also leveraged to allow shoppers to quickly identify the brand on the shelves. The overall design is consistent throughout the entire Zatarain's breading line, but subtle accent color changes differentiate breading types for easier product recognition.
