DUBLIN — Research and Markets has announced the addition of the "Top 35 Salmon Firms – 2012 SeafoodIntelligence CSER reporting Benchmarking Trends & Developments 2011" report to their offering.
The publication provides a unique monitoring & benchmarking of the world's top salmon farmers/aquaculture firms' endeavours to communicate/report transparently, in English, on the corporate, social and environmental responsibility (CSER) aspects of their business.
Each of the world's Top 35 firms (based on 2011 production disclosures) have seen their reporting (website corporate documentations/statements, annual & sustainability/environment reports) benchmarked against a comprehensive set of novel 212 CSER indicators. The latter are, when it comes to environmental impacts & reporting, compatible with the indicators contained in the 2012-released WWF-initiated Salmon Aquaculture Dialogue (SAD) standards, which will serve as the basis of the Aquaculture Stewardship Council (ASC) eco-certification'; which aims to become the world's n°1 farmed salmon ecolabel and to which many retailers worldwide are pledging support.
