A Blandford company that produces frozen planked salmon is upgrading and expanding its operation.
Granville Gates & Sons Ltd., which operates under the Cedar Bay Grilling Co. brand, is launching a $196,000 project to help it expand into new markets and offer more products.
“Our business, over the past year and a half, we’d be pushing about 30 per cent growth,” president Doug Park said in an interview Thursday.
The company is getting a $98,000 loan from Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency to help with the project. The company will provide the other half.
