Tom Tjerandsen, Produce Industry Icon, Passes at Age 80
The family of noted international produce marketer Thomas C. Tjerandsen of Sonoma, Calif., sadly announces his passing on November 8 after a short illness. He was instrumental in the founding of the Pomegranate Council and had been its executive director since its inception in 1997.
