ORTON A second Great Harvest Bread Co. bakery and store will open in the area in May.
Sam and Stephanie Polito. owners of the Great Harvest store on Allen Road in Peoria, will open another at at 664 W. Jackson St. in Morton, along with Buffy Gordon. It will be adjacent to Lennie’s Quality Meat Shop.
“When we first contacted Sam about bringing a Great Harvest to Morton he was immediately receptive to the idea,” said Jennifer Daly, CEO for the Morton Economic Development Council. “Sam and Stephanie are from this area and they love our community. We all knew it could be a very successful second location for them and a great addition to Morton.”
