Bread Alone Bakery Commits To Staying & Growing In Ulster County

KINGSTON – Bread Alone bakery, which produces bread and pastries for the wholesale and retail market in the New York metropolitan area, has committed to staying and expanding in Ulster County.

When County Executive Michael Hein learned the Boiceville company was looking at relocating to another state, the county and state’s economic development teams went to work to craft incentives to retain the company.

“We have identified a unique program called Manufacturing Assistance Program, provided them with $240,000 to help them grow and add new jobs in our community,” Hein said. “They are investing $4 million of their own dollars in making sure that Bread Alone continues to grow and become a wonderful employer as it already is in our community.”
