Food Industry Veteran Dave Hansen Joins Silver Hills As Vice-President Of Sales

ABBOTSFORD, British Columbia — Silver Hills, the parent company behind better-for-you-brands Silver Hills Bakery, One Degree Organic Foods and Little Northern Bakehouse, today announces Dave Hansen to the new role of Vice-President, Sales, effective October 8, 2018. 

Dave began his career nearly 30 years ago with Frito-Lay/Pepsico Foodservice as a Route Sales Representative, culminating in his appointment as West Region Director in 2004. In 2009, he became Regional Vice-President at Snyder's-Lance, honing his skills as a strategic planner and eventually rising to Vice President, Global Sales at Nature's Bakery in 2015.

In his new role, Dave will focus on accelerated retail expansion in both the United States and Canada, bringing strategic selling insights to the suite of Silver Hills' better-for-you-brands.  He will be pushing to expand Silver Hills' growth through DSD networks and to expand the company's food service presence across North America.  Hansen will also oversee sales team growth and mentorship as Silver Hills expands its team to meet the needs of its growing customer base.
