3 Fellers, a Virginia-based bakery and gluten-free food manufacturer, announced this week that it will provide gluten-free desserts and dinner rolls to bakery sections of two grocery retailers in the East by July 6, 2012. Approximately 20 Whole Foods and 30 Earth Fare grocery stores will carry these items from 3 Fellers.

ABA: Court Decides In Favor Of GHG Rules

This week, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit Court issued its decision on industry petitions regarding the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) rules limiting greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. The main focus of the suit was on EPA’s “tailoring” rule, which requires only major polluters to obtain permits for their GHG emissions. Bakeries are currently not impacted by the “tailoring” rule since EPA set the trigger threshold high. However, it appears that EPA will be able to retain authority to lower those thresholds with time.
