Three well-known transportation/intermodal experts have announced the launch of Tiger Cool Express, a business that will transport fresh produce across the nation efficiently, cost-effectively and safely using rail intermodal service. Tiger Infrastructure Partners, a middle-market private equity fund, has provided funding for the business and equipment orders. The company plans to be in revenue service by early spring 2014.
