SuperValu Sells Fuel Stations

SuperValu said late Wednesday that it is selling 107 gas stations in the Midwest, Intermountain West and West Coast regions. The transaction includes the majority of fuel centers within the Albertsons, Cub Foods, Hornbacher’s and Jewel-Osco brands. SuperValu said the transactions will allow it to monetize non-core assets, creating capital to use to strengthen its business.
