Bacteria In Raw Milk Sickens Eight In Michigan

Some people swear by the benefits of raw milk, saying pasteurization destroys
important nutrients and enzymes.

But several Michigan residents are dealing with the product’s less-attractive
side.

Eight people in Wayne, Macomb and Washtenaw counties became sick after drinking
unpasteurized milk laced with bacteria, state health officials said Friday. No
one was hospitalized.
