Relying on a small-batch, slow-churn process, Casco Bay Butter in Scarborough is making big strides in introducing flavored butter to consumers in the region.
Now comes the honor of being named the Outstanding New Business of the Year by the Scarborough Economic Development Corp., or SEDCO.
Kevin Freeman, president of the SEDCO board, said this week that Casco Bay Butter received the outstanding business award because of its rapid growth during the past three years.
