Commonwealth Dairy Introduces Light Yogurt

Commonwealth Dairy LLC, located in Brattleboro, VT recently introduced Green Mountain Creamery Light Yogurt with stevia. These light yogurts have 1/3 less sugar than regular lowfat yogurts. Regular lowfat yogurts have 27 grams of sugar (170 calories) per 6 OZ serving, light with stevia has 15 grams (100 calories). Currently the following flavors are available in 6 OZ packaging: Strawberry, Blueberry and Vanilla. The light Vanilla is also available in 32 OZ. The products are available at several universities and institutions in New England and available for retail through Commonwealth’s distribution network.  A variety club pack with 4 of each 6 OZ flavors is available at 10 Costco locations in New England (Danvers, West-Springfield, Everett, Brookfield, Waltham, Nashua, Colchester, Dedham, Avon, Norwalk) and retails for $6.49.

All items have no artificial colors, preservatives, additives, artificial sweeteners or high fructose corn syrup.  The yogurt is made in the Green Mountain State with rBST free milk.
