Deja Moo Milk Taken Off Walmart Shelves

FARGO – For Jim Odney, the challenges of jump-starting his dairy brand may be starting to feel like Deja Moo all over again.

The milk, a labor of love for Odney for the past decade, disappeared from shelves about two weeks ago. It had only been available in Walmart stores in Fargo and Dilworth as part of a test-marketing program.

It’s the second such snafu in the brand’s 10-year history.

Odney, a Minneapolis-based entrepreneur, bought the Enoch Schultz Creamery in Bismarck in the 1990s with aspirations of launching a national dairy brand.

He started selling DeJa Moo milk in 2001.
