SAN FERNANDO, Calif. – The 2015 U.S. Championship Cheese Contest is hosted by the Wisconsin Cheese Makers Association and the largest national cheese, yogurt and butter competition ever held in the United States. Karoun Dairies, Inc. (karouncheese.com) took home Gold this year, as well as a Bronze Medal. Karoun won the Gold for their Gopi Indian Low Fat Yogurt and Bronze for their Karoun Mediterranean Low Fat Yogurt, both in the Low-Fat Cow’s Milk Category. This March, the United States Championship Cheese Contest had a record-setting 1,885 entries from 28 states.
