Roseburg, OR – Umpqua Dairy, Market of Choice and Valley River Inn are pleased to announce “Sweet, Savory and Fresh”, a Northwest Recipe Contest and Cook’s Competition. They are in search of winning recipes by fabulous home cooks and foodies.
Home cooks and food lovers alike are asked to submit their favorite recipe for the “Sweet, Savory and Fresh” Recipe Contest. The contest will run from May 1st thru June 15th, 2012. There are three categories for home cooks and foodies to enter their favorite recipe. Categories are Appetizer/Side Dish; Entrée/Main Dish and Dessert. All recipes must include the use of Umpqua Dairy products as a key ingredient. There will be three finalists selected in each recipe category.
The Sweet, Savory and Fresh Cook’s Competition will take place on Saturday, July 7th, 2012 in Eugene, Oregon. The nine finalists will be invited to Eugene to compete in a Cook’s Competition. In addition to great prizes, the winners will be featured in the “2012 Sweet, Savory and Fresh Cookbook”, which is set to be released in fall 2012.
