Announcing Estate Cheese Group At IDDBA

John Crean and David Viviani have formed Estate Cheese Group. We are representing the historic Petaluma Creamery's artisan crafted, certified organic, award winning Spring Hill cheeses and other fine dairy products. We will be at the IDDBA show booth #1708 in the California Street of Cheeses. Petaluma Creamery is in the heart of Sonoma County's unparalleled Milk-ShedTM and receives the finest pasture-grazed Jersey cow's milk. We invite you to come by to discover their many fine cheeses, butters, quark, milk and whey powders and more.

Estate Cheese Group was formed to develop the market for better cheeses and dairy products made by premier family-owned companies in the best cheese-making regions. We recognize that consumers wish not necessarily to eat more, but to eat better. Our products are crafted with the belief that family-owned, local, appellated, sustainable, organic and humanely raised are the way of the future in the dairy industry, and speak to what people want now.

John Crean is a successful entrepreneur in food and beverage, most recently having co-founded Winery Exchange, the nation’s premier merchant-brand beverage alcohol company. He attended Yale and Stanford Graduate School of Business, and lives and works in Sonoma, the heart of California’s artisanal cheese country.

David Viviani’s family has been in the cheese business for three generations, having founded and owned Sonoma Cheese Company, home of Sonoma Jack. David’s links to the industry run deep, most recently having been the President of the California Cheese and Butter Association. David is a native of Sonoma and currently lives in San Francisco.
