Best Cheese Corp. Announces Launch Of Parrano For Deli Slicing At Fancy Food Show

Purchase, New York — Best Cheese Corporation, leading US importer of specialty Dutch cheeses, announced today it will launch Parrano cheese in loaves for deli slicing at the 2013 Winter Fancy Food Show. A top selling Dutch cheese in wheel form in the specialty cheese department nationwide, Parrano loaves now make it easier for slicing, grating and sandwich making.

“Through recipe contests and social media, consumers and chefs have shared with us ways they incorporate Parrano into meal preparation and the most common use we found was sandwich and Panini making. Therefore, it makes perfect sense to provide Parrano in packaging that makes it easier for recipe preparation and creates little “shrink” – in a deli loaf,” stated Steven Margarites, President.

Commonly referred to as “The Cheese from Holland that thinks it’s Italian”™, Parrano is recognized for capturing two of the world’s best known cheeses in one; Gouda and Parmigiano Reggiano®. It’s nutty flavor, buttery aroma and smooth texture has won over consumer’s palates nationwide.

In addition to Parrano, Best Cheese Corporation will also launch a traditional rindless Gouda in loaf form.

Both Parrano and traditional Gouda loaves will be showcased at the Best Cheese Corporation booth #2605 at the Winter Fancy Food Show. Product’s will be available for shipment immediately at a SRP of $10.99/lb and $8.99/lb respectively.
