Fountain Inn, S.C. – D&W Fine Pack, a leader in the foodservice packaging industry, has recently launched a new line of tableware called REVIVE™. REVIVE products are made from 100 percent sugarcane fiber – a natural, biodegradable, and compostable annually renewable resource.
Unlike many other biodegradable containers, the REVIVE line, featuring a full suite of bowls, plates, platters, and hinged containers, is microwave, oven, and freezer safe, as well resistant to leaks, cuts, oil, and high water temperatures. REVIVE products offer all the benefits of plastic, while also meeting ASTM D6868 and EN13432:2000 testing for biodegradability and composting, BPI requirements for compostability, and United States Food and Drug Administration requirements.
REVIVE products were designed as part of a total product offering, allowing greater flexibility and potential cost savings for users. Matching lids from other D&W product series are available to create a complete package. In addition to the stock line, REVIVE products can also be custom-designed, printed, and/or embossed to increase customers’ brand awareness. The stock line products are white (made from elemental and chlorine-free bleached sugarcane), while custom products are available in white or natural (made from non-bleached sugarcane fiber sheets).
