Glanbia Foods continues producing award-winning cheeses, and it has the medals to prove it.
Glanbia, which has facilities in Twin Falls, Gooding and Richfield, took home 11 awards from the recent 2011 U.S. Championship Cheese Contest, in Wisconsin.
Glanbia earned three gold, five silver and three bronze medals at the March championship.
Glanbia’s cheeses won their categories from more than 1,600 entries from 30 states.
A panel of independent judges evaluated entries on numerous cheese attributes, including texture, body, color, taste and finish.
