The new NestFresh Chambersburg Hard Cooked Facility is located in the heart of central Pennsylvania. At 10,000 square feet, the processing area cooks, peels, and packs over a quarter million eggs per week. The company’s Pennsylvania Dutch-Style Red Pickled Eggs have been a regional favorite for many years. Food service and retail establishments can enjoy the benefits of NestFresh’s purchase of this new facility as they establish standards for sustainability and animal welfare in future production.
NestFresh’s practices will bring the current plant in line with the company’s existing standards by reformulating items and ensuring the plant is certified to produce specialty products. All the while, the facility will continue to produce Lehman’s and Uncle Buddy favorites, such as Select Hardboiled Eggs, Salad Grade Hardboiled Eggs, Red & Clear Acidified Shelf Stable Pickled Eggs, Red Beet Pickled Eggs, Dutch Gold Mustard Pickled Eggs, Sweet & Spicy Pickled Eggs, Dill Pickle Pickled Eggs, Jalapeno & Garlic Pickled Eggs, Blazin’ Buffalo Pickled Eggs, Old Bay Pickled Eggs, Horseradish Pickled Eggs, Deviled Egg Kit.
