If America was a sandwich, it would probably be Carve Unique's "Fourth of July Picnic" sandwich. 15-spice fried chicken (honestly, though, I could detect 4 spices at most), cole slaw, and bourbon BBQ mayonnaise. While in New York for our Carnegie Hall shows, we tried one, with special guest eater Doug Berman.
Doug: Fourth of July? It's missing hot dogs.
Peter: And it should be soaked in Miller High Life.
Ian: And it needs fireworks.
Doug: I have a feeling it has fireworks, but you're going to feel the explosion a little later on.
