Anthony J. Vigliotta Named President Of American Institute Of Floral Designers

BALTIMORE – Anthony J. Vigliotta AIFD, CFD, of Anthos Design in Los Angeles, Calif. was installed as President of the American Institute of Floral Designers (AIFD®) during the organization's 2016 National Symposium held in Orange County, Calif., July 3-7. He succeeds Joyce Mason-Monheim AIFD, PFCI, CFD of Designer Destination in Tucson, Ariz. as the volunteer leader of the floral industry's leading organization in design education.

Installed as AIFD’s President-Elect was Kim Oldis AIFD, CFD of Details…it’s all about the flowers in LaConnor, Wash. Frank Feysa AIFD, CFD of Garden Gate Inc. in Aurora, Ohio was elected to serve as the Institute's vice president, Tom Simmons AIFD, CFD, of Three Bunch Palms Productions in Palm Springs, Calif., will serve as treasurer of the Institute, and Jackie Lacey AIFD, CFD of DBG Events and Florals in Chicago, Ill. will serve as secretary of the Institute.

Leanne Kesler AIFD, CFD of the Floral Design Institute in Portland, Ore. will serve as the membership chairperson and Cindy Anderson AIFD, PFCI, CFD of Colorado Springs, Col. will take on the role as AIFD’s 2016 Symposium Coordinator for “Symposium X” taking place July 1-5, 2017 in Seattle, Wash.
