Colombian Flowers Set To Benefit From FTA With South Korea

Colombia's trade minister says the national flower, meat and fruit sectors will benefit the most from the free trade agreement with South Korea, in an interview with W Radio Friday.

With the trade deal, 99% of flower, fruit and meat exports will not have tariffs to enter the Asian country, according to Sergio Diaz-Granados.

The minister said "Colombia needs more markets where the rules of the game are stable and so we have got our eye on the [South] Korean market; it is a big importer of food."
